WHY DOKi?

BE LEAN

Our snack give you more protein per calorie than any ready-to-eat snack in the Indian market making it the ideal for people looking to get fit.

ALL-NATURAL

Our jerky is made using only natural ingredients. That means no refined sugars, no preservatives, no colourings or any other nasties you can think of.

GLUTEN-FREE

We declare the wheat allergen out of abundant caution. But with gluten, we've had all our products tested for gluten and the labs have come back saying there is 0 gluten in it. Our food science department explains the only 'wheat' that enters the product is through the soy sauce we add. We only add a dash of soy sauce in the marinade and the soy sauce itself has very little wheat in the first place. As such, the wheat that makes its way into the final product is infinitesimal.

BE A LEAN MEAN MACHINE

There’s no other snack that gives you as much protein for as few calories making Doki ideal for both people trying to lose weight and people trying to gain muscle. For context, our jerky gives you 3x more protein than the leanest protein bars.

FAQs

HOW MUCH TIME WILL SHIPPING TAKE?

Shipping will take 2-5 days depending on your location.

HOW IS JERKY SO NUTRITIOUS?

Oversimplified but meat is nutritious because protein is good for you and, of all foods, meat has the highest protein:calorie ratio. Jerky is simply dried meat; that is the meat minus the water that's usually in it. We dry it so that bacteria can't grow and spoil the meat. So, on a per gram basis, jerky packs 2-3 times more nutrition than raw meat because we dry away ~65% of the water weight of meat when making it and, whilst water has weight, water has no proteins or carbs.

ARE THESE SNACKS FOR PEOPLE TRYING TO LOSE WEIGHT OR GAIN MUSCLE?

Not at all, we're in the snacking business not the nutrition supplement business and so our first rule is that our products must be TASTY! That said, meat is just naturally supremely nutritious so we decided to make an extra effort to ensure that our products are healthy by using only the highest-quality ingredients and leanest cuts of meat and by developing techniques that allow us to keep the meat from spoiling without the use of

IS DELIVERY PAN-INDIA

Yes, we deliver Pan-India.

ARE THESE READY TO EAT?

Yes both our jerky and chips are ready-to-eat straight from the packet.

IS THE PRODUCT HALAL?

The chicken and buffalo we source are always Halal.

However, 2 flavors (Teriyaki and Smokey  Masala Chips) contain Teriyaki sauce which uses rice wine (not sure if that's an issue for you). Also, one of the ingredients of gochujang paste (used in the Gochujang flavor) is edible alcohol.

Flavors without either Teriyaki Sauce or Gochujang include Kerala Fry, Karnataka Nati, Murgh Mughlai and Pepper which are free of both Rice Wine and Edible Alcohol.

Our pork is processed separately.

WHAT IF I DON'T LIKE THE PRODUCT?

You'll be breaking our hearts but you can return, for a full refund, any unopened packs if you didn't like the packs you did open. We're happy to offer this financially risky promise because an overwhelming majority of people who try our products like it.

HOW IS JERKY MADE?

First, we take lean meat (that is meat with minimal fat) and cut it into thin pieces. Then, we marinade the meat for 24-48h in our secret sauces that correspond to the flavours you love (e.g. Teriyaki or Gochujang). After that we dry the meat to remove the water in it so that bacteria will be unable to grow and spoil it (this is how when grapes are made into raisins you can store them at room temperature for ages but normal grapes would go bad in a couple of days). We then pack it into nitrogen flushed bags (removing oxygen and moisture as a further step to ensure bacteria can't grow) and ship it to you.

HOW ARE PUFFS MADE?

First, we take pork rinds which have a thin layer of fat attached to them and cut it into bite-sized squares. Then, we boil these rind pieces to soften them and render out most of the fat. After that, we cool and thoroughly dry the rinds, which causes them to shrink and harden (this is how we ensure a crispy texture and long shelf life, much like how potato chips stay fresh for months). Next, we heat them in our special fryers, where they puff up and become incredibly light and airy.

Lastly, they’re seasoned with our signature spice blends to give you the flavors you love and then packed into sealed bags (keeping out moisture and oxygen to maintain that perfect crunch).
